PROPOSED ITINERARY
Day 1 ; Nairobi – Diani
Depart from Nairobi to Diani with a flight or Sgr Train. Upon arrival at the airport or train terminus, you will meet our representative for a meet and greet and get transfers to your respective hotel/apartment
Check in at the hotel for lunch or dinner
Spend the rest of the day unwinding at the beach and enjoying the hotel facilities

Day 2 ; Full day in Diani
After a buffet breakfast you can spend full time leisure at the beach or alternatively you can join our group departures for the below site visits;
Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park “Home of the Dolphins"
Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park covers a marine area with four small Islands surrounded by coral reef. The Islands have dense coastal equatorial forests, sea grass and marine algae cover the reef. Attractions include dolphins and coral gardens. More than 250 fish specifies have been recorded. Kisite is one of the most rewarding snorkelling locations at the coast. Visitors can also enjoy bird watching, diving and of course, sunbathing.
Shimoni Caves
Shimoni is a Swahili derived name meaning caves. These caves are where the slaves were supposedly kept before being loaded onto the boats and shipped to Zanzibar. A custodian takes you around the dank caverns to illustrate this little-discussed part of East African history, actual evidence that slaves were kept here consists the solely of the iron rings in the rocks, but as piles of the empty votive rosewater bottles indicate, the site definitely has the significance for the locals. The Shimoni Caves were used as a waiting pen for the captured slaves from the hinterland. Now a community owned project, the caves provide an income for the local people. From Shimoni, boat trips go to Wasini Island and Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park, both famed for snorkeling
Shimba Hills National Reserve
This is one of the largest coastal forest in East Africa after Arabuko Sokoke forest near Watamu. The reserve is rich in flora and fauna and hosts the highest density of African elephant in Kenya. The forest is an important bird area and is endowed with forest birdlife and grassland. 111 bird species have been recorded including African hawk-eagle, great honeyguide, crowned hornbill and uluguru violet-backed sunbird. Other species of interest include the rare sable antelope, leopard, genet cat, greater galago, elephant shrew, bushy tailed mongoose and fruit bat The scenic Sheldrick Falls and the dense Mwaluganje Forest are also found here

After a buffet breakfast have an easy time at the beach and enjoy the hotel facilities
Later prepare for a check out from the hotel for your departure to Nairobi depending with your flight departure time or train departure time
